Deloitte's 6th Annual Corporate Alumni Giving Campaign Campaign Champions: Stacy R. Janiak (COM '92), Scott D. Steffens (COM '89) On Oct. 16, 2007, DePaul staff, alumni and friends joined representatives from Deloitte to kick off the company’s sixth annual corporate alumni giving campaign. Co-sponsored by Deloitte partners Scott Steffens (COM ’89) and Stacy Janiak (COM '92), the campaign supports a variety of initiatives, including the Deloitte Endowed Minority Scholarship and the Deloitte Distinguished Professorship funds. More than 300 DePaul graduates work at the accounting giant, with more than 17 DePaul alumni recruited during the past year alone. The strong DePaul representation in Deloitte’s ranks has helped make the Deloitte giving campaign a vibrant tradition. The kick-off celebration included a short program with Kevin Stevens, director of the School of Accountancy and Management Information Systems; John McEnroe, Deloitte Distinguished Professorship recipient; Jeanne Lenti-Ponsetto (EDU ’78), athletic director; and Eugene Lenti, women’s softball coach. The evening ended with a presentation of $30,000, the largest matching gift contribution to date from the Deloitte Foundation, from Deb DeHaas, regional managing partner and vice chairman at Deloitte.
