College of Commerce

Donors support a long tradition of excellence when they contribute to DePaul's College of Commerce, the nation's tenth oldest business school, including the nationally ranked Charles H. Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.

The College offers contemporary, highly innovative programs that combine theory and practice with a flexible approach to learning. With a focus on strategic decision-making and adaptability, the curriculum is delivered through the personalized instruction of an acclaimed and experienced faculty.

The following fundraising initiatives are currently underway in the College:
  • The Chicago-based Coleman Foundation gave $1 million to DePaul and will match all additional gifts raised by the University up to $1.5 million to fund the world-renowned Coleman Entrepreneurship Center in the College of Commerce.

  • The Real Estate Center was officially launched in the Spring of 2002, and has already attracted the support and funding of over forty Founding Sponsors in the real estate community both in the Chicago area and on both coasts. The Center continues to seek financial support from alumni, friends and corporations.

  • The Department of Finance aims to raise $1 million toward endowed scholarship funds to increase support for the department's top students.

  • The Success Through Scholarship 2 campaign will build on the success of the first such campaign, with the goal of generating $325,000 in new endowed scholarship funds in the School of Accountancy and Management Information Systems. This campaign will augment the Success Through Scholarship 1 campaign, which raised approximately $300,000.

  • The Leo V. Ryan Center for Creativity and Innovation aims to create a permanent endowment in order to sustain and improve upon its distinguished programs. The Center teaches innovative strategies and tools for breakthrough thinking by offering a variety of programming and workshops, as well as customized training and consultation for individuals, teams, and organizations.
