![]() ![]() Originating as the Department of Computer Science at DePaul University, the College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) has evolved in the past two decades from a pioneer in the areas of computer, information and network security, human-computer interaction and e-commerce technology to an interdisciplinary college with a range of innovative digital media programs. The college is organized into two schools: The School of Computing (SoC), which incorporates programs in computer and information sciences such as computer science, software engineering, security, information systems and IT project management, and the School of Cinema and Interactive Media (CIM), which encompasses digital arts majors including game development, digital cinema, animation and interactive media. CDM also offers state-of-the-art laboratories that enable students to learn emerging technologies on current equipment and software, and prepares them for personal advancement in their respective careers.
