![]() ![]() As the oldest and largest college at DePaul, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences serves as the foundation of the University's educational programs. Its degree programs provide students with both a broad-based survey of the humanities and sciences, and an in-depth study of their chosen concentrations. A special focus on critical thinking skills, experiential learning, and values in our changing world round out their education and start them on a path toward lifelong learning. The College provides numerous opportunities for student scholarships and faculty support from alumni and friends of the University. Endowed scholarships provide financial assistance to students in need or to students with exemplary academic achievements. Faculty grants allow faculty to devote a greater time to research, as well as allowing them to integrate undergraduates in the process.
