Donors to DePaul's School for New Learning (SNL) can be confident that they are supporting high quality, innovative programs firmly rooted in best practices for adult learning. Established in 1972, SNL is an international leader in the design and delivery of competence-based higher education for adults, and is widely recognized by education experts for the effectiveness of its approach. Perhaps most importantly, SNL programs are customized toward individual interests and educational goals. Under the mentorship of resident faculty and professional experts, students are able to build on the abilities and experiences that they already possess, as well as gain new knowledge and enhance the necessary skills that they need to achieve their career goals.
