Purpose
To serve as a student ambassador of DePaul, instill a greater philanthropic spirit throughout the University community to enhance the future of DePaul University.
Who should Participate
Students interested in volunteering and gaining experience in marketing, fundraising and philanthropy. This is a volunteer opportunity.
Member benefits
- Assist in organizing, planning, and executing DePaul University’s first ever Philanthropy Week to be held May 12th- May 16th.
- Participate in the planning and execution of philanthropy awareness events
- Promote Philanthropy week amongst student body
- Coordinate marketing plan
- Receive recognition as a Student Giving Committee member via the
- student giving program website
- student class gift solicitations
- committee members receive a certificate of recognition for their service to the University.
- Make friends, attend fun events, and build an even greater University for future students, while building great experience for your resume!
Member expectations
- Time commitment on average of 1-2 hours a week.
- Promote Philanthropy Week and encourage attendance amongst student body.
- Staff Student Giving tables, and events.
