The Theatre School

Gifts to The Theatre School (TTS) at DePaul University help ensure that one of America's oldest and most respected conservatories (founded as the Goodman School of Drama in 1925) can continue to nurture young artists in an exceptional training program.

TTS prepares students for careers in every discipline of professional theatre by emphasizing a "learning-by-doing" approach through training programs that are intensive, highly disciplined and focused on individual development. The school's conservatory setting ensures that students receive focused attention from renowned members of the Theatre Studies' faculty and professional staff.

Students are involved in every aspect of the production of more than 200 public performances each season at DePaul's Merle Reskin Theatre and other venues.
